Northern Electric's machine shop can provide metalizing or wire welding to repair worn shaft surfaces, machine a new replacement shaft or manufacture many of the parts not readily available needed for the repair of your motor. Many of our customers have come to rely on our machine shop capabilities for other machine work they need, not associated with motor repair. We have 4 lathes, a vertical mill, a horizontal boring mill and our precision balancing equipment. We have two machinists with over 50 years of combined experience to meet your Company's needs. Our largest lathe has the capability to turn a shaft 17 feet in length with up to a 39 inch diameter.
